Advanced Pistol Class

John Wilson, born in Chapel Hill and raised in Raleigh NC spent ten years in the SEAL Teams from 2007-2017. Most of his career was spent as a Lead Sniper for SEAL Team2 during Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa deployments. He then spent 2 years as a Close Quarter Combat and Firearms Tactics instructor at Training Detachment2 at Little Creek Naval Base VA.

Class will cover:

* Grip, Stance, Point shooting both eyes open

* drawing from the holster

* Speed reloads, Tac-reloads

* Multiple Target Acquisition

* Shooting while moving

* Shooting from cover

* Switching hands, one handed shooting

* Shooting while moving on open ground and through the house

Drills will include the pistol “SEAL Standards” he was held to while operating in the SEAL Teams.

Gear list:

Eye and Ear Protection, Pistol, OTW holster, 3 mags with mag pouches, 400 rounds, lunch and water

No shorts or open toe shoes.
